Tips for clean scans
mailto: links only work if the user has a default mail client configured — in-app mailers won't trigger
Keep subject lines short — long subjects may be truncated by some scanners
Consider a contact form URL as a fallback for users on devices without a mail client
Common questions
Does the recipient get spammed if I print these on a flyer?
Only if you put the QR on a flyer people actually scan. The recipient address is visible in the QR pattern, so use a dedicated address (not your personal one) for public-facing QRs.
Can I include a CC or BCC?
Standard mailto: URIs do support cc but not bcc. We support subject and body.

SMS QR code
Encode an sms: link that opens the messaging app with the recipient and body pre-filled. Great for "text us to subscribe", contest entries, and quick customer-service routing.
vCard QR code
Encode a vCard (electronic business card) with name, phone, email, organization, and website. A single scan saves the contact directly to the recipient's address book.
URL QR code
The most common QR code: turn any web address into a scannable link. Drop the URL into a flyer, business card, or packaging and a single scan opens the page — no typing, no typos, no friction.
