When to use it
Print a vCard QR on the back of a business card so new contacts save your full info instantly
Add one to your email signature or trade-show badge
Put a vCard QR on a hotel room key or welcome card so guests can save the concierge
Tips for clean scans
Stick to the essentials (name, phone, email, org) — extra fields make the QR denser and harder to scan
If you speak multiple languages, use the vCard's language field rather than separate QRs
Test the save flow on both iOS and Android before printing — some older scanners drop fields silently
Common questions
Does this work on iPhone?
Yes — iOS shows a contact card preview and offers "Create New Contact" on scan.
Can I include a profile photo?
Standard vCard 3.0 supports a PHOTO field but the QR grows quickly. We don't include photos by default to keep the QR scannable.
